This is a magical VR app that allows kids to create and communicate with each other

The app’s whimsical world is split into individual artistic realms where educators, or as we say Guides, can engage Explorers (students) to remedy the dullness of online learning or provide them with creative down-time.

Is This For You? 

OdyScene is mainly for educators & students ages 8-12, though it can be modified for other demographics (read below about adaptability)!

OUR GOAL

The goal of this platform is to facilitate remote, creative connectivity between youth that can also be optionally applied within an educational setting.

 

Children will not only be able to collaboratively design their own avatars and homes in the app’s free-roam realm, but they will also be able to complete specific creative activities as customized by their educators within the other realms (e.g. rhythm games, VR painting).

 

This will lead to the development of future creatives and critical thinkers.

research

There is an international lack of interactivity in the arts sector amongst kids, particularly as schools are constantly adjusting to fluctuating COVID restrictions. It is shown that VR can ease stress and increase a person’s sense of connectivity during times of anxiety. OdyScene accounts for both elements in its innovative design.

ADAPT-

ABILITY

OdyScene has the flexibility to be modified for other demographics, include other creative elements, and focus on other school topics. With that, users will have even more opportunities for exploration. This is especially important considering creativity and idea generation involve connecting different ideas in new ways.
