HOW TO PLAY THE GAME
(hover over me!)
This drama game is meant to teach students the positions of a stage in accordance with the Ontario grade 7 drama curriculum.
The activity begins with all the students scattered on the stage area. Text then appears on the screen giving instructions, such as: “get to downstage centre as fast as you can!”. After a 10-second countdown, explorers need to find downstage centre on their screen before time runs out.
This game does not have the traditional “winner VS loser” component as explorers are simply corrected before the next round begins. The purpose of this activity is to facilitate education and not to promote competition amongst players.
